The present work has as its essential point the study about animal protection and how international relations are important in the fundamental guarantees that perform government strategies in the environmental issue. It was, therefore, an instrument of study of the respective article, the way the procedure is performed using live animals in the academic scope, as well as highlighting the advantages of using alternative methods to the practice. Another important question about Vivisectionism is the legal aspect of the procedure, considering its purpose against the prohibition of torture as an internal and also international precept, based on the premise that this practice is recurrent in several higher education universities in Brazil. The methodology used was deductive, based on a bibliographic and documentary research.
