The purpose of this article is to analyze the Federal Law nº 13.874 / 19, regarding the acts of release of economic activity, and the changes in the scope of the public advocacy of the Federal Union. We will defend the thesis that the States and the Federal District Government, given the general rules introduced by the “Declaration of the Rights of Economic Freedom”, must adapt their legislation to confer prerogatives, to the respective Attorney's Offices, to perform acts of release of economic activity.
