Abstract

The author brings in his text the importance that the Brazilian Civil Procedure Code of 2015 brought in relation to a mandatory system of precedents.
It indicates the need to re-read some normative statements that were in agreement with the previous code and it makes considerations about the function of the defeated vote, the functional competence for the writing of the judgment and the procedure of the collection of votes in court.
