The increasing of competitiveness imposed by the professional market has found fertile soil for the different practices of violence at work, among them, moral harassment, which is characterized as an abusive conduct that causes damage to the personality and the physical and psychological integrity of the worker. Moral harassment has been a recurring practice in labor relations Among the main impacts of moral harassment on professional life, the devaluation of work is observed, followed by low professional performance. While in personal life, the impacts can lead the worker to physical and psychological illness. The difficulty in proving the facts makes it difficult to penalize the perpetrators of these crimes, thereby perpetuating impunity and reinforcing the undue naturalization of cases of moral harassment.
