Celebrities and notoriety: can public curiosity justify a lower level of privacy?

The research intends to investigate the way how Brazilian legal system protects the private life of so-called celebrities, examining doctrinal contributions, reviewing some pertinent judicial decisions and studying a case of concrete application of the institute. The objective is to raise a critical reflection on the protection of this right in concrete situations involving celebrities.
