PGE's electronic journal is assigned B2 score according to Capes' assessment, a Ministry of Education organ
The Electronic Journal of the Attorney General's Office of the State of Rio de Janeiro (REPGE) obtained, in its first evaluation, the B2 score, given by the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (Capes), an organ of the Ministry of Education.
The B2 ranking is considered high, only granted to traditional and prestigious journals in the country, and was awarded in the Capes quadrennial evaluation. According to the Chief Attorney of the PGE Legal Studies Center (Cejur), responsible for publishing the Electronic Journal, the evaluation rewards the continued effort of several PGE management.
- The classification of our Electronic Journal as B2 is proof that this Office's great achievements come from its commitment to the continuity of projects and initiatives over the course of different administrations. Launched in 2018, under the management of Attorney General Leonardo Espíndola, the Journal went through different administations over the last four years at the Office and at the Center for Legal Studies with the constant support and encouragement necessary for its production and development. Here is the result.
Congratulations to Attorney General Bruno Dubeux, Editor-in-Chief Gustavo Binenbojm and all the Servants and Attorneys who work daily for the excellence of our publications - celebrated Anderson Schreiber.
PGE's electronic Journal was created in 2018 and has been published quarterly uninterruptedly, always respecting the high standards required by CAPES, such as the evaluation of all articles submitted, without identification of authorship, by at least two examiners (the so-called "double-blind peer review") and the exogenous number of authors, reviewers and advisors, who must be, for the most part, from other regions of the country.
In an internal statement, the management of Cejur noted that the evaluation rewards the effort that has been carried out “with the invaluable assistance of many Attorneys and Civil Servants, who help with the presentation or review of articles, with the divulging of calls for submissions and with the dissemination of each issue released”.
Cejur thanks, in particular, Nathalie Giordano - one of the founders of the Magazine, in her period leading Cejur (2016-2018) -, Gustavo Binenbojm, current Editor-in-Chief of the Journal, Priscila Soares, currently responsible for the Publications Sector, Janaina Cruz, Rodrigo Valadão and Marcelo Santini, among others who, over these 5 years, dedicated their time and effort to PGE's eletronic Journal. The statement is signed by Cejur's Chief Attorney, Anderson Schreiber, and Assistant Prosecutor Fabiano Pinto de Magalhães.
